Synopsis
Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Antonio Capurro, un ladruncolo travestito da prete, viene arrestato dal maresciallo Cottone. In seguito, durante un bombardamento il lestofante riesce a impossessarsi della divisa del poliziotto, lasciandogli l’abito talare. Inizia così una serie di comiche disavventure per i due, che devono eludere i nazi-fascisti che occupano il paese e nascondere i soldati alleati che stanno arrivando di nascosto. Alla fine, il paese verrà liberato ed Antonio sfuggirà ancora una volta al poliziotto.
