School for Fathers

Jindrich Pelikán, an older teacher from the city of Brno, comes to teach in the small town of Milonice. His predecessor was very easy on the fifth grade class to which he is assigned. When he imposes real standards, everyone is upset – the students, their parents and the schoolmaster. The only person on the staff who appreciates his principles and his courage in sticking to them is another teacher, Andulka.
