Synopsis
Victor Burnell (Warner Baxter) is a public health official who is appointed warden, by the state governor (Charles Evans), of a state prison badly in need of reforms. In the process of implementing his program, he learns that is wife is having an affair with convict Albert Gardner (Harlan Warde), a convicted forger who is also his wife’s good-time-earned chauffeur.
